Getting to know the Military Family Support, ROC's non-profit arm

Based in Sun City Center, Florida, the MFS is the non-profit arm of the Retired Officers Corporation (ROC) at Freedom Plaza. A leading organization for providing support for veterans and enlisted personnel and their families, the organization was created so that the ROC could offer much-needed military family support functions such as scholarships on a tax-exempt basis.

Widely known for raising money for college scholarships for the children of military personnel, we also fund programs and organizations that cater to veterans and military families.  The money we use for our activities has been donated to us from everyday people who support our mission, as well as interest from generous bequests we've received from veterans, and tax-deductible donations we receive from caring individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of those who serve or have served our country.
