 Military Family Support is one of the nation's leading non-profit organizations that provides support to enlisted personnel, veterans and their families. We are committed to helping those who have served our country in their time of need. We do this by funding programs that provide the much-needed support that our military families need. 

How we give back to those who made the sacrifice for us to have our freedom

From providing scholarships to high school seniors and funding organizations that provide financial assistance for veterans and enlisted personnel, and service dogs for sight-impaired veterans and vets with PTSD,  hospice care, and programs that help prevent homelessness for veterans to providing  funding support through partnerships with the local military base in short term emergency and holiday funding --- we are here to support those who made the sacrifice for us to continue to have our freedom.  

 


Our Core Focus:

  • Supporting our Military Men & Women

    Our primary goal is to support military men,  women, and their families via direct and indirect support to individuals and organizations.

  • Scholarships

    Our organization grants 12 scholarships every

    year ranging from $4,000 -  $12,000, uniquely for 4 years. This program is for Florida students whose parents or grandparents are in the military; ranked E-5 or above or Florida JROTC students completing atleast 3 years of their high school program. 

  • 4 Pillars

    Committed to the 4 pillars of of our organization. Scholarships, Career Grants, Honor flight Guardian sponsorship & JROTC/ Youth Leadership.

  • Community Involvement

    To ensure we're making every effort to provide  the support  needed, MFS is an active partner in our local community.  We distribute quarterly newsletters, community awards & recognitions. We've sponsored commemorative bricks,  Veteran and chamber partnerships, as well as local chamber members. We are committed to staying at the forefront of the local community to gain the support needed to those who have served, and those who continue to serve.

Over the past year we have had many changes and transitions. It has been wonderful to see the organization and its recipients of so many awards doing amazing things. We wanted to highlight those who have come and gone. Please enjoy getting to know a bit more about these contributors. We also know it is important to share with our biggest fans how recipients of awards are doing. They scontinue to strive to achieve onward into their next chapters. Always know all who have supported MFS we thank you for making this all possible!

Something New

We are going through a bit of a change, and with 30 years under our belt a little change is good. Military Family Support Trus t is changing its name to Military family Support . We have been working behind the scenes to make sure our name matches all the wonderful things we have done and will continue to do in our community. We haven't changed, just dropping a word off the end. Take note of our name and new website, Milfamilysupport.org . You'll notice some changes to our branding, logo and social media but don't be alarmed it's still us. We look forward to introducing you to some new faces that have joined our team as well as some that are moving on to new phases. We truly appreciate all the years and dedication to the role! We will share more soon! Drop us an email we'd love to talk with you and hear more of how we can work with our community to continue helping the whole military family!
